Precautions for operating methods of rubber track

Improper driving methods are the main factor causing damage to rubber tracks. Therefore, in order to protect the rubber tracks and extend their service life, users must pay attention to the following precautions when using the machine:

(1) Overload walking is prohibited. Overload walking will increase the tension of the compact track loader tracks, accelerate the wear of the core iron, and in severe cases, cause the core iron to break and the steel cord to break.

(2) Do not make sharp turns during walking. Sharp turns can easily cause wheel detachment and damage to the track, and can also cause the guide wheel or anti detachment guide rail to collide with the core iron, causing the core iron to fall off.

(3) It is prohibited to forcibly climb steps, as this may cause cracks at the root of the pattern and in severe cases, cause the steel cord to break.

(4) It is prohibited to rub and walk on the edge of the step, otherwise it may cause interference with the body after the edge of the track is rolled away, resulting in scratches and cuts on the edge of the track.

(5) Prohibit bridge walking , which is one of the main reasons for pattern damage and core iron breakage.

(6) It is prohibited to lean and walk on slopes (Figure 10), as this may cause damage to the track wheels due to detachment.

(7) Regularly check the wear status of the drive wheel, guide wheel, and support wheel. Severely worn drive wheels can hook out the core iron and cause abnormal wear of the core iron. Such drive wheels must be replaced immediately.

(8) Rubber tracks should be regularly maintained and cleaned after use in environments with excessive sediment and chemicals flying. Otherwise, it will accelerate the wear and corrosion of the lightweight rubber tracks.
