It is Children's Day today, after 3 months preparing, our donation to primary school students from YEMA School, a remote county in Yunnan province is finally a reality.
Jianshui County, where YEMA school locates, is in southeast part of Yunnan Province, with a total population of 490,000 and 89% mountain area. Restricted to limited farm land, crops are planted on terraced fields. Although it makes a great scenery, local people can barely make ends meet based on farming, young parents have to work in big cities to be able to support families, leaving grandparents and young children behind. It is quite a common phenomenon for inland counties now, all society begin to pay more attention to these left-behind children.

On this special day for children, we hope to bring them joy and happiness.
All of them are also very happy to see volunteers, in return they put on a wonderful performance for us.

We feel quite contented with their laughter around all day, and that makes us happy all day.
