Crawler tractor has large traction force, high traction efficiency, low grounding specific pressure, strong adhesion, good operation quality, simple operation, convenient maintenance, and high cost performance of the equipment, especially suitable for heavy-load planting operations and terraced operations such as farmland, heavy clay land and land reclamation operations in mountainous and hilly areas.

High traction force and high traction efficiency

Crawler tractors have higher adhesion and traction than wheeled tractors, and the traction of crawler tractors is 1.4~1.8 times that of wheeled tractors for machines of the same weight.The 102.9 kW tracked tractor was tested to be 132.3 kg lighter than the 1804 wheeled tractor with 1804 kW, but its traction was 1.3 times that of the 1804 wheeled tractor.In terms of traction efficiency, the traction efficiency of wheeled tractors is 55%~65%, and the traction efficiency of crawler tractors is 70%~80%. Compared with four-wheel drive wheeled tractors with the same horsepower, the traction efficiency of crawler tractors is 10%~20% higher. In general, a 66.15 kW tracked tractor has the same traction efficiency as a 73.5 kW wheeled tractor.

 High operation efficiency and good operation quality

Due to the low center of gravity, large adhesion coefficient, good stability, small turning radius maneuverability, and strong off-road climbing ability, the crawler tractor has better adaptability to heavy-duty planting operations and terraced operations such as farmland, heavy clay land and land reclamation operations in mountainous and hilly areas.
Especially in hilly areas, the slope of cultivated land is large, the soil resistance is uneven, when using wheeled tractors to tilt the operation, the stability is poor, the uncertainty is large, the working depth is uneven, and the operation quality is low, and the choice of crawler tractor in these areas can significantly improve the quality of operation.

Low fuel consumption and high cost performance

Field operation tests have shown that tracked tractors of the same weight consume more than 25% less fuel than wheeled tractors. From the price comparison, the price of the 140 horsepower C1402 crawler tractor is about 250,000 yuan, while the price of the 180 horsepower 1804 wheeled tractor with the same working capacity is about 420,000 yuan. The price of the C1202 crawler tractor is about 200,000 yuan, and the price of the 1604 wheeled tractor with the same working capacity is about 380,000 yuan, almost twice as expensive. The price-performance ratio of wheeled tractors and tracked tractors is clear at a glance.

A short introduction

In 2015, Gator Track was founded with the help of rich experienced engineers. Our first track was built on 8^th, March, 2016.  For the total built 50 containers in 2016, so far only 1 claim for 1 pc.

As a brand new factory, we have all brand new toolings for most of the sizes for excavator tracks, loader tracks, dumper tracks, ASV tracks and rubber pads. Most recently we’ve added a new production line for snow mobile tracks and robot tracks. Through tear and sweat, happy to see we are growing.
